The
Christian Community Health Fellowship (CCHF) was started in the
late 1970's in rural Mississippi. CCHF originated to support Christians
who are committed to "living out the Gospel through health
care among the poor". CCHF is a national network of Christian
health care professionals and others concerned about the health
care needs of impoverished communities in the United States. We
encourage others to live out the Gospel through health care among
the poor.
CCHF
publishes a quarterly, Health and Development/The Apprentice,
and sponsors several events each year, notably CCHF's annual conference
held on about the third weekend of May each year.
CCHF
actively participates in the Louisville
Medical Missions Conference and the Christian
Community Development Association Conference, and sponsors
regional seminars and intensive workshops that focus on specific
topics.
