Health Ministries
CCHF has historically been based on individual memberships. Over
the years, CCHF has developed substantial relationships with organizations
that serve as preceptorship sites, MedSend loan repayment sites,
models of health care ministry that serve as examples for people
starting new ministries, hosts for conferences and meetings, and
other connections with CCHF activities. These ministries have
provided the basis for CCHF's "Best Practices" program.
We call these "CCHF-related ministries" and have recently
initiated an "organizational membership" category to
recognize and formalize our relationship with these ministries.
This group of ministries has been an extremely valuable resource
for people accessing this website. Sometimes a person is trying
to identify a Christian health care site for a friend, family
member or patient moving to a new area of the country. Often,
a student or resident is looking for a place to do a rotation
or for potential employment. A newly developing health care ministry
may wish to identify other ministries that have similar goals,
patient populations, organizational structures (e.g., church-based
programs, free clinics, volunteer-staffed, etc.), or other characteristics
for the purpose of technical assistance, communication, or even
to pay a visit.
We encourage you to visit this section of the website, which
has been organized in a searchable form. Contact information for
each site is indicated, and links to websites are provided, where
known. We have chosen to only provide basic information such as
what services are offered at each site. This information is to
be used only for educational purposes, networking between health-related
organizations and individuals working in the health professions,
etc. This information must not be used for solicitation.

CCHF has formed relationships with a network of groups ranging
from other networking organizations like Nurses Christian Fellowship
to organizations offering valuable resources like Evangelicals
for Social Action, which publishes Prism Magazine. We've included
these links and resources for your benefit.

that while this list is obviously open for anyone that may wish
to visit, it has been organized primarily to serve the needs and
interests of CCHF present and potential members.
