CCHF: A Fellowship of Partners

CCHF exists to educate, equip and encourage Christians to live out the gospel through healthcare among the poor. In order to be true to what we see God doing in our nation, we are shifting the way we think about our relationship with you and all who are part of this movement. In the past, we have related as staff, members and non-members. However, we believe that CCHF should resemble the body of Christ more than a trade association. Therefore, in the future, we will view our relationship as a partnership rather than a membership.

In CCHF, “partner” means “participant”. We envision a movement of God’s people who choose daily to bring healing to marginalized communities in the name of Jesus. 95 million people live in 17,000 medically underserved areas in the USA.  51 million are chronically uninsured. 1 in 7 of all Americans live in poverty. We need a movement!

If you share our commitment in Christ to be part of the solution, you are part of our movement. For us to walk in true partnership with you, we need to know what you are doing and how we can help. We want to connect you with others around the country so that they can benefit from your experiences, insights, and gifts. CCHF acts as a platform for local practitioners to have a national voice and to serve as a connecting point for all who are part of this movement. CCHF helps us do things together that we could not do alone, like reaching students with our message or remaining connected to other groups whose missions overlap ours.

We are asking you to do two important things.

First- become an active partner in building relationships and connecting with other folks engaged in this movement. Share your story and insights with Christians who have a similar call and allow them to share with you. Help us identify other Christians who are partners with us in this work, so that those unconnected to CCHF can become part of a real and meaningful community of Christians who live out the gospel through healthcare among the poor.

Second- communicate the meaning of your partnership with us. Write a note and share what you are doing now, God’s call on your life, what you have done in the past, or what you want to do in the future. Let us know whatever might be helpful for us to know how we can help you or how you can help others. Send us your story at info [at] CCHFmail [dot] org.

CCHF also needs our partners to express our relationship in a way that reflects your value of the unique role that CCHF plays in our movement. CCHF's annual budget enables us to build a strong network of Christian healthcare leaders, help new healthcare ministries get started and existing ones make sound strategic plans, and send speakers to scores of medical schools every year. Donate Now.

Regardless of what you decide to give, we are partners together in a great cause.
