Beth and Greg Delaney.In a recent survey over 1/3 of CCHF clinics reported that they plan to expand scope of services to include MAT (medication assisted treatment). This session will look the trends in MAT via information gleaned from recent meetings with SAMHSA, ONDCP, and DHHS, and will share about faith-focused recovery providers who are exploring, and/or using MAT.

This workshop will focus on the practical implementation of evidence-based outpatient medical treatment, including dietary intervention and the drug therapy which has created new hope for those trapped by alcohol. Topics will include the use of naltrexone, (including The Sinclair Method), new medications, and gut biome factors which drive the neuroinflammation accompanying chronic use and related psychological problems.
