Culture of Despair - John Perkins

Posted on January 1, 1994

All of us who live in cities know that things are desperate. The media seems to take some perverse delight in chronicling how bad things are in our urban areas. But we don't need the media to tell us thatit is a reality that many of us have to live with day after day. It is easy to be overwhelmed by hopelessness. John Perkins writes about this critical situation and the role that the church needs to play in restoring hope.
